Georgia Tech's Maya Çakmak et al. have developed methods by which robots learn faster by teaching each other skills rather than attempting to learn alone. By using stimulus enhancement, emulation, mimicking, and imitation, simple robots learned about their environment by interacting with others also learning about their environment.
The Domestibeast is a herd robot. Each Domestibeast is networked to every other Domestibeast within range and can both learn from and teach other Domestibeasts about the environment and one another.
